The Social Media Specialist will work with marketing team to support franchise organization with over 50 locations. This position is responsible for researching and developing social media programs that support marketing initiatives. The individual will present the right social media opportunities to corporate leadership as well as our franchise system and provide training when needed. The position requires strong presentation skills. The Social Media specialist will execute social media recommendations, establish metrics and analyze program results to ensure that they meet that meet our performance objectives.
*This position will work with marketing department on other supporting projects and administrative tasks for approximately 20-40 percent of the time.
*Developing, recommending, and implementing innovative social media marketing programs
*Leading social media program execution through coordination across internal and external teams
*Strong writing skills and style that works well in social media channels
*Proven passion and demonstrated ability for using social media — a
power user of Web 2.0 tools including Twitter, blogs, widgets, YouTube, RSS, social bookmarking, etc
*Collaborate with a team to monitor and analyze social media activity and make recommendations based on insights and trends
*Marketing and administrative support for department
*Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
2+ years of Social Marketing and/or Agency experience is strongly preferred.
*Demonstrated ability in professional knowledge of the latest trends, practices, programs, and applications evolving in social media/networking
*Strong Presentation skills and advanced PowerPoint knowledge
*Strong Excel skills
Experience with franchise owners
