This is an amazing career opportunity for a proven Web Solutions Architect to work with designers, customers, third-party technology vendors and other solution architects to design and deploy the optimal solution for the customer’s business needs including the integration of other web applications within this thriving Internet platform and services company.

While working on a project team of developers and project managers, you will be in a customer-facing position providing support to the sales team by being available to represent and answer questions for service engagements and reviewing of estimates. In this fast paced and challenging position, you will be responsible for…
• Ensure the customer’s overall satisfaction with the Company and the deployed solution
• Lead and direct the work of others, primarily but not limited to template developers
• Work directly with customers to understand, analyze and document their business goals and requirements to recommend the best technical solution through the Company’s Platform
• Design, articulate and deploy scalable solutions the customer can maintain
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging online video trends, web technologies and how they can be leveraged by the Company’s Platform
• Participate in Sales-led customer conference calls and/or onsite customer meetings in order to present solutions to technical and managerial staff. (Occasionally travel may be required)
• Help the sales team build project proposals and estimates

To be immediately and seriously considered for this amazing opportunity, you must have the following:
• 4 years of experience in a “customer facing” role that required direct daily interaction
• Experience with large, complex, and multi-phased software implementations, agile methodology a plus
• Experience with various web services including but not limited to: Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence, Video Platforms, Web Marketing
• Web service development experience within the last 2 years
• Experience implementing web solutions utilizing video platform, such as LVP, Brightcove, Ooyala, or similar
• Understanding of video encoding, transcoding, including wrappers, formats, codecs, bitrates, aspect ratios, etc.
• Developing custom interfaces within OVP tools— such as custom players, playlists, channels, etc.
• Web content management, search engine optimization and analytics/optimization
• API integrations
• Familiar with software development lifecycle models

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in graphic design, web design, multimedia design or related field. Three to five years of relevant experience. Agency experience is a BIG plus. Marketing Automation experience is an even BIGGER plus. Help us create the next generation of social interaction on the web! This position is responsible for developing widgets and infrastructure that enable us to create custom interfaces for our clients’ events. The ideal candidate has experience implementing dynamic user interfaces compatible with multiple browsers using PHP, Javascript, and Ajax. Experience with Actionscript and the LAMP Stack is also a must.

This role involves the design and implementation of modules allowing customizable navigation flow, WYSIWYG editing, social network integration, metrics gathering, and site security. Our web developers work closely with every member of our team, and are crucial to our organization’s success. Must be able to think strategically, be willing to assist in the development of specifications and look for ways to incorporate new and emerging technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modular widgets, custom interfaces, and content creation tools using PHP, JavaScript (including asynchronous calls), Ajax, and Actionscript when necessary.
• Develop complex web applications that integrate with all major social networks (facebook, twitter, etc.)
• Code pages to meet project goals, user needs, industry standards and aggressive timelines
• Maintain understanding of current web technologies and programming practices through continuing education, reading, and/or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups
• Incorporate technical and non-technical considerations into web site design plans, including: budgets, hardware, performance, and legal issues (including accessibility, privacy and security)

Required Skills

• BS in Computer Science, or a related degree, and/or significant equivalent academic and work experience
• 4+ years experience developing user interfaces for the web using PHP, Javascript, Ajax, Actionscript, and the LAMP Stack
• Ability to hand-code HTML/CSS/JS without WYSIWYG tools
• Self-starter and team player with strong self-management skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing with MYSQL and Zend framework
• Facebook application development experience preferred
• Experience capturing video from end-user machines, and displaying embedded streaming video playback
• Experience in web application development that includes building e-commerce and/or backend applications such as web-based customer service or billing systems
• Perl, Python and basic Linux system administration capabilities
